The Denton FFA Alumni Association awards scholarship funding to Students that have participated in FFA and meet specific scholarship requirements.

The amount of each scholarship is determined by the amount of money set aside for that year's scholarships divided by the number of qualified applicants.

Scholarships will be awarded in two equal installments and will be forwarded to college or university at the recipients request.   In order to be considered for scholarships, members must be dues paying members in good standing with the FFA chapter.

Scholarship Requirements

Denton FFA Alumni Association will provide scholarships to graduating seniors who meet the following requirements:

• The student is a graduating senior at a DISD High school.
• Has taken at least three years of AG science courses, and was a bonafide FFA chapter member for the entire period.
• Has maintained above satisfactory scholastic record in high school.
• Has been accepted to attend a college or university.
• Must maintain a 2.5 GPA in college courses to receive the second installment
• Submits a scholarship application to the FFA Alumni Scholarship Committee for consideration
