Denton FFA Alumni Scholarships

The Denton FFA Alumni Association annually awards $500 scholarships to DISD graduating seniors that participate and excel as members in the FFA Chapters. MORE INFORMATION

Blue Ribbon Club Scholarships

The Denton County Livestock Association and the Blue Ribbon Club (a support organization for the Denton County Youth Fair and Rodeo,)  award numerous $1000 scholarships each year to graduating senior participants of the Youth Fair and Rodeo.  Several of the scholarships are donated by individuals and families, as well as those funded by the DCLA and BRC through their fund-raising projects.  Some are given in honor of Denton County individuals who have been active in the agricultural activities in years past.

The Bob C Powers Scholarship annually awards $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors that participate in school, community, FFA, FHA, or 4-H activities.  MORE INFORMATION

Monsanto Company Agriculture Scholarship

High school seniors living anywhere in the United States are eligible to apply for one of 100 scholarships in the amount of $1,500.00 each. The purpose of these one-time awards is to help finance students from farming families who have chosen to major in an agriculture-related area of study.  MORE INFORMATION

United States Department of Agriculture National Scholars Program

The Program awards over 35 scholarships to students attending one of 18 universities in all. Funds are provided to pay for tuition, books, fees, and living expenses for four years, along with a computer and software. Successful applicants will also work for the US Department of Agriculture while attending school and be entitled to employee benefits. MORE INFORMATION

United Agribusiness League Scholarship Program

Students studying agriculture-related subjects who reside in the United States, Canada, or Mexico are eligible.  A completed application form, a resume, three letters of recommendation, and an essay.  MORE INFORMATION

American Agri-Women - Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarships

Each year, several $500.00 scholarships are made available to farm and ranch women (and their daughters) to help defray the cost of tuition for agriculture-related studies. High-school graduates who can demonstrate financial need are eligible to apply.  MORE INFORMATION
