The Denton County Antique
Tractor, Farm Equipment and Primitive Club is a non-profit
origination formed to promote
the appreciation of agricultural history and preservation of our rural
Texas heritage.
We do so by showing Member tractors and equipment in local displays and
club shows. The primary purpose of our Club is to HAVE FUN!
Monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of each Month at
7 pm, normally at Ruby's Diner on the Denton Texas Courthouse
Square unless otherwise indicated on the website homepage.
The Club
has established and
awarded Educational Scholarships for AG mechanics to Denton
County High School students through the Blue Ribbon Club at the
Denton County Youth Fair. We also hope to
work with the public and private
organizations to establish a Farm Heritage Museum in Denton
County to
provide a local resource for educational displays and farm demonstrations.
Your
Annual Membership includes a Liability Insurance Policy
In this
day and age, anyone putting on an engine/tractor show needs to be
insured for protection from lawsuits which may result from a
spectator being injured at a show. Part of your annual club
dues covers your Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association (
E.D.G.E. & T.A. ) insurance coverage.
